DIRECTIONS:
Ben’s Chili Bowl is conveniently located at 1213 U Street in the heart of the Washington. Just 5 minutes drive North from downtown DC. From Adams Morgan take U St east, or from Howard University take U St west. We are also just a few minutes drive NE from Dupont Circle.
And YES Ben’s has parking!
We have 10 spaces for your convenience located behind Ben’s. Just take the alley to the left of Ben’s (Ben Ali Way) until you see signs for Ben’s parking.

Ben’s is directly across the street from the U Street/African American Civil War Memorial/Cardozo stop on the Green Line. When you get to the station, exit towards 13th street and we are across U Street from the escalators.
First Time to D.C.?
Though getting around D.C. looks very confusing, it is pretty simple and logical. Generally speaking, the numbered streets travel north to south and go in order. Conversely, the lettered streets and named streets go east to west and are alphabetical. So, we are at 1213 U St., which means we are located on U Street between 12th and 13th. If you are at 14th & F Street, you would travel north on 14th St. past G, H, I etc. all the way up to U St., then make a right past 13th street and to Ben’s between 13th and 12th . Got it? If not please just give us a call at 202-667-0909, or ask just about anyone on the street. Most Washingtonians are very helpful and most everyone knows how to get to Ben’s.
