We ship nationwide with FedEx 2nd day Air and FedEx Home Delivery. You can order now from our website, or by calling our toll-free number, 1-877-484-BENS between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. We will confirm your order and let you know when it is being shipped.
Shipping:
Pricing does not include FedEx shipping. Shipping ranges from $10 to $20 for FedEx Home Delivery to a range of $22-$65 for FedEx 2nd Day Air, depending on your location (zip code) and the weight of your order. We ship 2nd Day Air to all the other states not listed below. Alaska and Hawaii require overnight and extra shipping charges apply. We ship FedEx Home Delivery to the following states: CT, DC, DE, IL, IN, MA, MD, ME, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, VT, and WV. FedEx guarantees 1 to 2 day delivery to these states and your shipping costs are cut more than half compared to 2nd Day Air. You will be able to see your shipping charges before finalizing your order.
We ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, if we have your order by 5 p.m. the previous day. You may elect to ship overnight or have a Saturday delivery, but extra charges will be incurred with both.

Ordering:
Our famous original Chili Half-Smoke, a favorite of Bill Cosby, the very same that brought Bill Cosby and his wife together, hasn't changed, it's still the best! Our chili's are still made by long time employee Bernadette "Peaches" Halton, who starts at 2 a.m. to make that day's Chili.
For 51 years we have been a gathering place in Washington, DC for the political elite, famous musicians, (we are next door to the Lincoln Theatre), and to many Hollywood stars. Movies have been shot here. The latest, State of Play with Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, and Rachel McAdams in the starring roles, came out in May, 2009. Whether it’s President Obama or Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, clean energy advocate, T. Boone Pickens, or Food Network star, Paula Deen, they all like being associated with the landmark, Ben's Chili Bowl and what it has stood for over 51 years.
Why Ship:
Over the years we have had hundreds of requests from our great customers and celebrities alike to ship our outstanding food. We have been on the Food Network and many national programs, always resulting in nationwide interest in shipping our trade name products, Bill Cosby's Half-Smokes and our famous chilies. When we opened Ben's Next Door Restaurant, which is next door to Ben's Chili Bowl, we finally had enough space available to store and ship our products. They are now available nationwide! Further Instructions and FAQ: • You may order online or call your order to our toll free number, 1-877-484-BENS, Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Please use the toll-free number for any questions you may have.
• We ship as soon as possible after receiving an order, but normally on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Saturday and next-day deliveries are available for an extra charge.
• We cannot ship to a Post Office box.
• FedEx must have a phone number for the address your order is to be delivered to.
• We will be happy to include a note card (no extra cost) with any gift order.
• We cannot be responsible if the address for delivery is entered incorrectly, or if the person is out of town. Please check to see that the recipient will be home sometime on the delivery date.
